We at SCS are dedicated to assisting
parents in furnishing their children with the tools they need to pursue their God-given call in a worthy manner. We will help families to seek after the wholeness of education through the development of excellence in Godly knowledge. Encouraging God-given abilities, and fostering Christ-like character will lead our students to find a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ and to a fulfillment of God's plans for them.

Sonrise has a 8.5 acre campus with a daycare / VPK center, elementary school building, middle/high school building, cafeteria, full gymnasium, worship center (sanctuary), playing fields, recess area and plenty of parking. We are located in East Lakeland area just off SR 92.

We are a private, non-profit Christian School that is fully accredited. We offer
non-denominational, bible based spiritual teaching throughout all subjects while striving for academic excellence using the Abeka curriculum.

Students will discover an exciting mix of sports, arts, chorus, academics and special events that have made Sonrise Christian School such a special place for so many families since 1978.
